2026 Application Guidelines of Global Korea Scholarship for Graduate Degrees

鈼�Program Objectives

Global Korea Scholarship is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea in pursuit of academicdegrees, which will enhance international education exchange and deepen mutual friendship between Korea and participating countries.

鈥�As Korean Government Scholarship Programs have been integrated and branded as Global Korea Scholarship in 2010, the name is changed to GKS(Global Korea Scholarship).

鈼�Number of Expected Grantees

In 2026, Korean Government's Global Korea Scholarship program aims to invite 2,000international students who wish to pursue a graduate level degree (master's or doctoral) or research in Korea.

鈼�Selection Procedures(University Track)

To be selected as a GKS (KGSP) grantee, an applicant must successfully pass the 1st round of selection managed by the Korean embassywhere he or she holds the citizenship or NIIED-designated Korean universities.

鈼�Application Deadline : March 31, 2026

鈼�Address for Documents Submission :Office of International Students(KGSP), Rm 9139, New-Engineering Building, 91看片网, 30, Pildong-ro 1-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, 04620, Republic of Korea

鈥�All documents must be arrived at 91看片网 no later than the application deadline.

鈥�Online submission is not approved.
